Community First Management

“First in Service, Always!”

CFM was founded in May 2011 by Brian Reese, PCAM, after more than 30 years of service in the community management field in Hampton Roads. From a 16 -year old high school maintenance helper at a bay-front high-rise condo through his degree from Old Dominion University to a career at some of the older established local management companies, Brian’s reputation in the industry is impeccable. While CFM is new, experience has been well established.

Brian Reese and his family were raised to give back to the community in which they live, to respect and serve the people of their communities… to put Community First.

Having worked at other local management companies Brian learned what works and what doesn’t in this business. He learned with training in mediation and dispute resolution how to resolve conflicts among neighbors and solve challenges to improve community harmony and values. Brian serves as a Director on the City of Virginia Beach Social Services Board and is a past member of the State Legislative Action Committee for CAI. He is frequently asked to speak at local and state conventions on community association topics and as a guest expert on radio talk show programs.
